It has been brought to my attention that some virus scanners block execution of either the install package or the program itself. This is due to the fact that I am using PyArmor to package my python code. ChatGPT says that some programs have a more extensive scan option that sometimes eliminates the problem but I haven’t tried it since MalwareBytes is installed on all of my computers and doesn’t have a problem with the package. I know that Microsoft Defender always complains since the software is not yet signed, but I have been informed that “Spyhunter reports a trojan/virus within the install package. My long-term solution will be to purchase a Code Signing Certificate but until I know the demand for my package is sufficient, that is too big an outlay. In the meantime, it will be necessary to add my software to your scanner exception list. Sorry.
